Happy Thursday! Happy July 14, 2011! Today is a bittersweet day, because later this afternoon, I will be in line to watch the final midnight premiere of a Harry Potter movie. I'm so, so excited but I'm also sad that this era is over :( ... I could go on and on, but I know you want to read about the good stuff. The free stuff! So here it is:
I'd really enjoy getting to know some more couples in lovvveee. So I've decided I'm conducting a contest for a deserving couple to get a free session! Yesterday, I posted a poll question on my facebook fan page asking if I should and all of seven people said yes. But none said no! I was a little bummed at the turnout, but I'm going to do it anyway!
Here are the specifics:
- You may submit one photo of you with your spouse, fiance, or boyfriend/girlfriend. To enter, email this photo to cristyangulo@live.com and be sure to include your name and phone number to be eligible! (If you know a couple who deserves a photo session, feel free to share this contest, or submit a photo for them!)
- The deadline for submitting photos is Monday, July 18, 2011 at noon. I will post all of the photos I've got at that point to an album titled "Contest" on the page, and then fans may begin liking the photo of the couple they think should win. Comments are welcomed, but the winning photo will be the one with the most 'likes'
- To get your facebook friends' support, tell them what you're competing in, give them a link to the Cristy Angulo Photography facebook page and tell them to 'like' your picture to help you win. Friends who haven't already liked the page will have to like it to be able to like your picture. Make sure to tell them to 'like' the page first so they don't get confused.
- You will have one week to get as many likes as possible. On Monday, July 25, 2011, the liking period will end and I will announce the winner.
- The winner will receive an engagement session, a day-after session, an anniversary session or a just-because-we're-together-and-we-love-each-other session. That is, a one-hour session at a location no more than 30 miles from the 75089 zip code, a CD with 50 of your best images in high-resolution all edited to my signature style and a print release granting you the right to share and print the images. This is a $200 value. And the winner will get it all. For. Free.
So, that's that, people! If you really want to get into it, get creative with your submission photo! Remember, even though you will be sharing the contest with your friends to vote for you, other people simply browsing my page may like your photo as well, so give them something to like! :) Oh, and if you know some love birds who deserve a session, make sure to pass along the info! The more submissions, the more interesting it'll be :)
And don't get discouraged. There may or may not be a 2nd place prize :)
