I did Madeline's 1st Birthday Session back in May, and the day her mom, Sua got her disk, she texted me saying she loved them and that she wanted to schedule a Mommy & Me session right away. I love that Sua let me get creative with ideas for this session. We got a little bouquet of balloons to add some color and to keep Madeline's attention and it worked for the most part! We started off with a little Fourth of July red, white and blue outfit and a single red balloon. Then we had some fun in the water with some more color! Here are a few of my favorite images.
I know she's crying in the photo on the right, but I just thought it was cute, because of the way she's standing there with the single red balloon. :)
This was the first time Chris shot with my camera for a client. We decided he should go with me and try out some new angles and get some practice in with changing settings and focal points on the move. I figured chasing around a 15-month-old would be a good opportunity. :) And he did a great job. I really like the image above. He took it. It was a few days before he practice second-shot at Michelle + Rick's wedding.
It wasn't until this point, toward the end of the session that I realized we were getting some reflections of Dallas skyscrapers in the water. I really liked the way it looked. :)
